Real Madrid have scooped a great deal in securing the signature of Rodrygo Goes, a talented 17-year-old Brazilian sensation from Santos.
The talented Brazilian forward has starred with his club recently which led to Los Blancos shelling out €45 million in the summer.
It has been expected that Santos starlet would move to Santiago Bernabeu in the winter but the player himself has moved on to deny such claims, revealing he will only be moving to Madrid at the end of the season.
“I will be joining the club in July, that is the agreement between the clubs and there is not an opportunity to move before that date,” he told Gazeta Esportiva.
In the meantime, Rodrygo will focus on helping his current club move forward.
Despite his tender age, Rodrygo Goes has already notched 60 first-team appearances for Santos.
During the current campaign he played 35 Serie A games and scored 9 goals while he also bagged further 3 in 11 outings in the Campeonato Paulista.
