Struggling La Liga giants Real Madrid are said to be eyeing a January swoop for Real Betis defender Marc Bartra.
Los Blancos have endured a difficult start to the 2018/19 season and are widely expected to be proactive during the January transfer market.
Multiple reports in Spain are now confirming that reinforcing the defence line has emerged as the top priority for Real Madrid with the 22-year-old Marc Bartra topping the list of potential signings.
Bartra joined Real Betis from Borussia Dortmund last January in a deal worth €10 million but his release clause now stands at €60 million.
Real Madrid are said to be eyeing Bartra as a Sergio Ramos successor and a long-term solution in defence.
